What the app stores
Your household's books: the entries you speak or type, the accounts they land in, and the correction entries that fix mistakes (the original always stays). Your settings: theme, visibility level, display names. Member identities: the email you sign in with. Every change to any of it lands in an append-only audit log — recorded for good, so the history can always be trusted.
Your AI key
Bring your own AI provider and key. It's stored encrypted at rest and never shared — with us, or with anyone else. You can replace or delete it any time in Settings.
Household isolation
Households can't see each other — enforced by the database itself, not just the app. What your partner sees is governed by the visibility level your household chooses, and that level applies to Moneta's spoken answers too.
No bank logins, no selling
We never ask for your bank login — there is nothing to connect and nothing to break. We don't sell your data, we don't advertise, and there's no third-party tracker in the app.
What this website itself does
This website counts page views and CTA clicks with a first-party, cookieless server-side method — no third-party trackers, no advertising, no data selling. Each event carries a random one-time identifier and no IP address, so the counts count visits, not people. No cookies are set by this site.
Export and deletion
Your books export to CSV or JSON any time, from Settings — even while paused. When a closed household's retention window ends, its data is genuinely deleted; that deletion honours your right to be forgotten.
